Responsible Travel:

Responsible Travel, this month we celebrate the tenth anniversary of our first visit to Soweto in July 2004, and the development of our Responsible Travel Initiatives.

For two years we were typical outsiders, then we realised that any drive-by visit is an insult to the local poverty community, and today we refuse to do so.

By walking among the community, you are afforded the safety of the community looking after each other.

Although we do have racial conflict in our country, in the Townships and Rural Villages the local communities welcome you, they are the most friendly groups in the world.

By 2005 we started to introduce home-stay accommodation, first in the Villages and then in Soweto and Alexandra.

Today, you can enjoy any of the magic of South Africa, the Big 5 Kruger Safari, St Lucia, Zulu Kingdom, the Garden Route through to the magic of cape Town and Table Mountain.

We operate from the very north of the Kruger Park, through to Cape Town, living with local communities.

You are invited to share in our initiative to develop our local communities through Responsible Travel, taking money directly into the communities, but more importantly, the development that takes place through your interaction.

24 Hours in Soweto gives the visitor an opportunity to get close to what South Africa and Africa is all about, preferably your first day in Johanneburg, but if necessary the day you leave South Africa.

Kruger Safari from Johannesburg, while enjoying inter-cultural exchange with the traditional village communities will allow you an experience that few will experience.

Join us for magic Responsible Travel.
